Last Visit Done!
Our last home study visit was Monday morning! This meeting was at our house. Our social worker met all of our kids and our dogs (and she's still letting us go forward! ha). Finishing up this part of the process is very exciting. We still have some paperwork to gather, and our social worker has to write up the study, but it should be done pretty soon. So much of this has been very tedious, but we are thankful for the process. We feel so much more prepared. Obviously there will be a learning curve and we will make lots of mistakes, but we are armed with much more knowledge about the unique medical, social, and emotional issues our child may face when she comes home.
