On Tuesday, I mailed in the very last of our home study paperwork! (At least I think I did. We'll see if anything else comes up!) The final piece of the puzzle was Greg's medical form, and I am very proud to report that he went to the doctor and came in under China's required BMI. Once that medical paperwork was in hand, I ran off to the post office and got everything sent off to our social worker. She has to finish up the home study and then give it to her supervisor for final approval. I am hopeful that it should be complete in 2-3 weeks! It is very exciting to think about finishing this milestone and moving on to the next major step in the process.
We are also on the brink of getting our first major fundraiser off the ground. Together with another dear family in the process of adopting, we will be selling freezer meals each month (so you'll have to be local to participate in this one -- eventually we hope to do a fundraiser that anyone can participate in!). We also encourage everyone to continue using the amazon link and purchasing coffee through our Just Love Coffee store (both links are found on the right sidebar).
